The Thursday Night Show is a live Kansas City variety show featuring local comedians, musicians, and artists. Each month at the Westport Coffeehouse, we entertain you with original music, improvised comedy, and wild card performances to get your weekend started right. For just $10, you'll see:

Improv comedy from The Trip Fives (Jared Brustad, Keith Curtis, Megan Mercer, & Jen Roser) As the origin story goes, four improvisers were exposed to a liquid mutagen during a traffic accident. The mutagen caused the four to become more human-like in intelligence and dexterity. Within days they grew to humanoid size and developed the power of speech. Names were chosen from the pages of an old discarded phone book: Brustad, Curtis, Mercer & Roser.

Music from Nan + The One Nite Stands The Lucy Ricardo of indie rock, Nan enjoys writing raps and indie pop and experiments live with a rotating cast of musicians she has coined the One Nite Stands.
