The Thursday Night Show is a live Kansas City variety show featuring local comedians, musicians, and artists each month at the Westport Coffeehouse Theater.
Our April line-up includes:
Improv by 3 Cute Queers, Kansas City's premiere LGBT improv troupe. Lauren Pope, Gabriela Sá Teles, and Jimmy Sitzman play scenes inspired by real life experiences in the LGBT and comedic communities. From one audience suggestion, they craft multiple scenes that may or may not influence each other. Audiences are both educated and entertained through their heartwarming and hilarious improvisation.
Music by Cheryl Poe, an original electro-punk musician. Her music features chill synth sounds and relatable lyrics, and you can listen to her EP Stratus on Spotify.
Tap dancing from Billie Mahoney & Dennis Porter. What a treat to have the legendary KC treasure, tap dancer extraordinaire, Billie Mahoney perform for us! Did you know that Billie Mahoney toured with the USO and performed with Ringling Brothers? Her partner for the evening is a man of many talents, local comedian & performer Dennis Porter!
